Buy it, and when you do get back to me then i will give you some settings that will provided you have sites with finds will find them.

I have used the ET since it came out and its still the best and better than the XP Deus included . In the past they said that the ET would nul on iron but i know now that if set up right and not necessarily maxed it will not nul out on iron.
It is powerful and even though it may be heavy as some would say , this machine has and will serve me well for a very long time to come.
It is a deep machine too , will find coins the size of a US quarter at 10 + inches and does Pound coins here . There may be deeper machines but the tone i.d. and the sounds and the numbers are when you get used to it the easiest to identify almost any target by numbers or sounds if you know the field or beach.
It is a learning curve but not that hard or i would not have one.
Good luck.

I have an etrac as well and I love it! Took a little bit to understand it coming from a dfx, but it was easy and fun. If you like to dig deep holes and find stuff others have passed up then you will love this.Get Andy Sabich's book and study it . Go to some tot lots and use the basic coin mode, find some easy stuff until you get the hang of it  and you will take off from there. Good luck and I hope this helps. Detecting

You can download the etrac emulator and play with it on your pc. Get the us coins file as well so you can play with it. It has french coins as default. Just do a search and you will find it. Great way to get the feel for the trac and it is free. Wink

I run an E-TRAC as well and it is a very good as well as deep machine.  Sure it may cost a bit but it's worth it as far as I'm concerned.    Check out my youtube channel for some of my E-TRAC finds:

If there are finds to be made at your sites the E-TRAC will find them.  There may be a bit of a learning curve but it's not much.  Just take your time and have fun with it.
