hi my battery for my e trac goes ded at 5hs use  (after 12h charge ) i think it is about ded . i think it is about 3 years old ??

I charge mine like 18 plus hours. I think that is what the book says. Maybe they need some more charging.

Kev, you should get about 12 hours use out of it, and there is a higher AMH battery that minelab make for it, see if you can get one from crawfords, give them a ring and ask for Craig
he will help you out for sure

I have the standard stock rechargeable.i have yet to run out of battery. I carry the extra akaline pack just it case.

The stock rechargeable battery will hold quite a charge.  I wind up getting wore down before it does some days. Grin

Still waiting for the battery type.

Li have a time life of less then Two years.  Depends on Ambient Temps and Charging.   Lap top batteries have lasted six month only.

I have 10 years on some Ni Cads treated right.

NiMh never worked for me after 6 months.
