Hello Rab,

I think the eTrac is definately worth buying and an excellent machine. I have used it and it is really good. Unfortunately I can't say whetere your coils are gonna work on it but I would tend to think so.

Regards,

Christian

E-Trac,CZ's,I D Edge..

Go Up Go Down

Hi Rab,
I just got the E-Trac and all Explorer coils will interchange...I have not got to use mine yet, but will come Sunday...
I have some friends that own and use the E-Trac's, they have been finding lots of silver coin's in old hunted out parks that have been hunted for years, and I am talking ever since the metal detectors came out...
One friend had 2 Vision's and 3 coils, the first Vision was bad, so they gave him a new one, and 3 bad coils, anyway he bought a E-Trac and liked it so much that he sold his Vision. Since he got the E-Trac, he has found over 30 silver coins...
The people that I have talked to say that they think the E-Trac is better at finding coins on edge than a lot of other units...
The E-Trac is different in so many ways than a Explorer ll, but you will have no trouble making the adjustment....You can go to the Minelab web site and read the Manual and watch the Video's on the E-Trac....

Now, I have one friend that has used the Explorer ll for years, he tried a E-Trac and went back to the Ex. ll, but he did not use it but a couple of times...
How ever, he did put a 11" Pro coil on his Ex. ll and that all he hunts with now.

Hope this helps.
HH..BJ
