Minelab Sovereign GT, Tesoro Eldorado

I am making a TDI meter for my Sovereign GT.  I have a small digital multimeter and want to hook it into the plug from the coil.  Does anyone know the correct pins to attach into?  I saw a description on how to do this and it said to hook into the pin with the blue wire and into the center pin.  My plug does not have any blue wires at all.  Any info on how to do this?  I am retired and have a lot more time than money and would rather not spend $150 or more for the Minelab meter.  Thanks for any help.
