Got me a new Minelab Excalibur II a few weeks back. Bought from a dealer in Delaware. He took the time to show me how to use it. So much nicer than buying on line. Sold my Whites Surfmaster and used some of the money to get this cool detector. I found the whites to be a little heavy on the coil. Not knocking the product just the Minelab has a better balance for me. I love my Excalibur on the ocean beach. I can go in and out of water, hunt dry and wet sand with no problems at all. All the tones this machine gives me helps me to understand what might be in the ground. Now owning a Minelab i will look to some land machines when the time comes to buy one.  Grin

Congrats.   I hope that one pays for the land machine quickly.
