I bought a Minelab Eureka Gold about 4 months ago. I have wondered the wilderness in search of cans and bullet heads. I have discovered that my metal detector can not detect pure gold ( nuggets ). It can detect anything else at the slightest of a sniff. I am told this " happens ". It is going back for repairs but am curious to know if anyone else has had a similar experience with the same machine.
