My wife found this on Sunday, - same field, just 10 yards away from where I found my Charles II hammered.
She was using her new Minelab Safari (Only the second outing)
Well pleased.

I sure will Christian, as long as lady luck comes my way. I always say, "if I go over it, I'll find it". Yes, she was very happy, it's the third gold coin she has found, -- Gold Sovereign and a half sovereign, plus she has found two rings with a sovereign and a half sovereign. I've never found one! But I have found a Silver Denarius dating back to AD 80, now THAT did make my heart skip a beat!

Oh, yeah!   That's real gold.   And it looks like that one coin would more than pay for a lot of detectors (especially if the detector was bought "used")
