Two years ago I found this great golden coin, my second one! It is a ducat from the Dutch province Holland(1776). It weighs 3.5 grams.

That sure is a beauty!! As have I, not finding a gold coin as of yet. I wish to see one in the hole I am digging some day....that will be a day. Good luck on your later finds, and may wealth follow you through!!

amazeing find,,nice one,is it a field find,well there are not many forests in the niederlands,Im still waiting for my first gold coin find,dont care what kind gold coin a ducat would be more then welcome,or even a 10 reich mark,,well Im still living in hope,,mike

I'm dutch aswell and interested where you found it. Obviously you don't have to tell me exactley where Wink

But a general idea. Just interested because I live in Amsterdam and rarely detect in Holland. Usually Scotland.
