Hi,
No they're not silver..... a few thousand got stamped last year I think it was, in error with no date on them!
Makes them highly collectable and worth about ?100  (150 or so dollars).
In fact, the mint will give you ?100 for turning one in.
Probably means they are worth more than that to coin collectors.
