Does the handle on the 1270 split in 2 halves cause it has 2 screws w/ nuts in the handle, I made a hip mount for it and its kind of in the way. I know the whole thing comes off if you open the box and un-bolt it but Fisher says that will void the warranty and I don?t want to do that.
But why put screws and nuts if it doesn' come apart?
