Hi Eugene52,

I'm a newbie here...sorry to ask this question here...I don't know if I'm suppose to create my own thread or I can just add it here.

My question is about the Golden Sabre Schematic diagram...it has an IC which 4024 and I'm not quite sure if I got the right one...What I have here is the HCF4024BE it's a RIPPLE-CARRY BINARY COUNTER/DIVIDERS 7 STAGE... Do I have the right one?

And also can you send me the parts list of the Golden Sabre as well as the Tx / Rx Coil Details...

Here's my e-mail add: olegna_01@yahoo.com

Many Thanks.

Yeah!

I've been reading the site earlier today and so far I have through Pages 1 to 72 but as far as I have gone through the most critical part of the Golden Sabre or the TGS is the Rx and the Tx Coils...

Does anyone here know the right oscilloscope readings at the RX and the TX part?

Many Thanks in advance

Hi everyone...

I'm starting to build my Golden Sabre recently...I'll five you updates about the project...

Has anyone of you hear about the 3D GPR?   Ground Penetration Radar?

A friend mentioned it to me...Is it great? Or does it even exist?

Good luck with your new project.

GPR does exist, has limited depth and his usually very big and heavy. The 3D radar needs a computer to analyze the data in real time. It's all very complex. I posted some PDF files of US Patents in the download area. Hurry and get your 15 posts and you can download the files.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Wheeew...what a complicated world we are living at.... Funny Cheesy Cry Exhausted

Anyway here's my Plan....I'll make my own TGS and hopefully once I'm able to make it work,

then I'llb try making the Goldscan in order to gain depth...since detecting is my only problem

and digging would be my friend's burden...hehehehe

Does anyone here got the Board Layout of the GoldScan?...

Thanks in advance.

I've learned that PI is good if you want to gain depth...not to mention digging more than 10ft below..hehehe...

Is GoldScan a good stuff? or there's something more simple and much better?

Thanks in advance.

Hi fellow hunters,

I've started with my Golden Sabre but one thing caught my attention...according to the schematic, the 4024 IC gets a sample of the generated transmit signal which then feeds it to the clock pin of the 4024 IC....The way I understand it, it is the circuit responsible for the generation of the -5V for the rest of the circuitry....I've tried simulating it in Multisim but it doesn't give me -5v, it only gives me around -2.5V which I believe is insufficient...anyway, I'll test the actual circuit later and I'll check the actual voltage if it is -5V...if it isn't I'm changing it with a 555 timer IC and make a negative 5V out of it...
