EX   Two Box are good for Deep targets of formidable size.

If the TX and Receive Coils are say 5 ft apart you can Expect about the same  or so depth on a jar of coins.

Being TR type you have to have the Ear for the wooo Wooo as you walk.

Tr suck about that.

They or at least the ones I used did not have any GB.

Not your basic Coin Machine.

Well that is what I've found with the ones I've messed with.

Sound like fun to me even if it's just for the experience of having used one. When you say large targets what size would we be looking at?

Sorry, Xavier...I just bought the 2Box, and I don't have any answers; just questions.

I'll agree with lunch box @ approx 3 feet down; never found a cannonball before. It would be very nice if 2 boxes were brought up to date with modern processor(s) and fast algorithms for discrimination. Autotune just can't cope with rapid changes in ground conditions.

It's not something else *wink*. Mind you, black sands do not guarantee the presence of the good stuff...I've found many a streak of them which yielded naught but a sore back, sun tan and insect bites.

Hey, Hobbyist...I had to stop and think about your answer for a few days. That "onomatopoeia" stuff threw me. I was thinking that maybe you were someone like me, who would make up some word, just to mess with the other guys head. My wife is from Mexico, and when I showed it to her, she knew right away what it meant. Now, I'm thinking that I'm the only one who didn't know what it meant. I noticed nobody else jumped up and said that they didn't know either. Oh, well...maybe now I'm just as smart as the rest of you guys..
I like the idea of yours, about following the black sand; also your gold riding an iron horse.
Thanks again for the help,
jim Peterson

Aah I didn't mean to confuse you, Jim. Just meant it is sometimes hard to translate sounds we hear into the written word.

And credit for "Gold rides an iron horse" goes to one of the mods, Homefire. I took his words to heart quite some time ago..and it has paid off in spades. See attached pics of some rock I found, by following black sands, the rust and iron stains. There's many flecks n streaks of color in them! I was repeatedly muttering to myself "don't be pyrite, don't be mica" when i cracked them open.  Cheesy

Mind you, the TF900 will NOT find tiny flecks of flour gold or smudges of it, but it can allow you to follow the patches of iron till you come across a good patch of rock!. I use a Fisher Goldbug Pro as well...but am now thinking that I now need a Goldbug 2 with higher frequency.

If that is gold you're seeing, you could be on to something really good.
I was in hardrock mining in Mexico, for many years, and have only seen the gold in rocks a few times.
The only thing to do now, is to grind it up and pan it. You will know for sure then.
