Finally found a use for that old Lawn mower engine that is collecting dust.

This would work really good for running a Dry Washer, Camp Lights, Jump starting the truck after the kid turned something on over night!   Club

Use a Bypass on the Regulator and you can weld with one.

Bypass the Diodes and you can run some power tools like grinders, Saws and the like.

Yep, I'm gathering parts here.

So far I have a Briggs 3.5 engine, No Carbarator.   Easy fix but don't like this engine as it has a power out put shaft on the side for Self Propelled mower.   May think of another use for that.

60 amp Alternator thanks to my dead ford 150.

Pullies from verious things that may work.

Looking for a housing or box some what like the video.

Ive been collecting parts for one of these as well, I plan to use it to charge the batteries on the trailer while camping. I want to make mine run on propane so it can run off the tanks on the trailer and not need a fuel tank. No carb required for propane just a venturi and regulator. Might be an easier route than finding a carb for your project as well.

Trying to keep it as small as possible.   Good Idea there though. Shocked There is a pile of info on the net for that.

Homefire they make a generator 2 stroke from harbor freight for 89$ its 900 amps. I use one for my furnace when the lights in winter go out. And ice storms. However mine is AC power and yours is DC power but you could put an invertor on it if need be for either ac or dc.  shortribs

Harbor Freight stuff last about two uses!

One hard time if your lucky.

Home Made, DIY is much better. Shocked

Homie, I used a Harbor Freight generator for more than 15 years. Gave it to a friend. Still working. Just bought a new one for here in New England. Works fine. Automatic starting with the addition of a slick battery. Love it.

My metal lather is a Harbor Freight import. Before I even turned it on, I changed out all of the bearings replacing them with sealed ball bearings. Very tight tolerances, mate. Just perfect.
