Go Up Go Down

Hello to all, i'm a complete newbie and have only just joined this forum and bought my first metal detector off ebay, its a Fisher 1280x, it worked briefly when it arrived and although i got a full refund and was told i could keep it, i am wondering where to send it for a repair or if it's worth it. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Before you call them, Do the Basic Checks like Battery Connectors! New Batteries!   And Most of all your trying to Set it up Right!

Thanks homefire, When i got it i cleaned up the connector posts, re-soldered the cables and put new batteries in, and still got nothing, so i'll give them a call and see if they have any authorised dealers in the UK. Cheers for now.
