Just give it a bit of Q20 to loosen the dirt then clean it as best a you can put the plug back in and go out there and have a good time before you break the damned thing trust me I'm a farmer  Grin

To me it sounds more like a loos wire than a dirty connector. Take it to a technician and have him or her inspect and re-solder the wires inside the connector at the end of the cable.
