Okay, here is an patent, and in the patent, it has a schematic for a co-axial coil. Now remember, this information is patented, but you can study it, for educational purposes. Now if you do change it, send me a copy, as I would like to experiement with a co-axial coil myself...

Okay, am going to modify it a bit, after looking it over a bit in detail, the schematic is more for the actual detector circuits, but in the text material, it goes in detail pretty much about the coil, so it is very informative on making coils.
