If you are speaking of the terminal that clips to the nine volt battery in the battery tray, I had the same problem with my Master Hunter. I just robbed the part from an old battery and pinned though the board and soldered it in place. It worked great.

One of the terminal on the battery board seems to be broken,
Are those things still available for an older machine line this?

You can buy a replacement end connector or replace the bent/broken pin by first de-soldering the connector and removing the pins. One of the pins is not used. You can tell by looking at the main board where the battery connects. Remove the broken pin and leave that hole empty as you re-solder the connector. Do NOT de-solder it with the plastic hood on. Bend that up first and using a jeweler's screwdriver, carefully posh down each pin to release the plastic hood. Pull it off and only remove the single pin that is not connected and use it to repair your broken one.

Digikey and Mouser Electronics both sell these connectors which are made by the same company that makes computer power supply connectors. In face, you can rob a pin or two from an old computer power supply and convert it into a PC board style pin with a file and some patience.

If you can't find a replacement (look for the part number visible in raised letters on the plastic) then you might consider what I did for a friend who found her Garrett to be too heavy. I wired an external connector for a battery pack she could wear around her waist and cut down weight. I used a spring cord and waterproof box and filled it with an 18V battery pack wired the same as the removable trays. She can recharge the batteries and use her machine for 15 hours if she wants. A great convenience overall.

If you really get stuck, PM me and we can arrange for you to send the battery tray down here to me for repair.

Are you talking about the PCB or Battery Tray?

The pins on the PCB are a simple correction.

You can buy the right Pins, Replace them with other Materials.

GD is Right On with the Computer Power Supply!

My Garrett Uses a Flat Type pin but the Pins from a Computer Power Supply would work like a Jiffy.
