There should be enough electronic components to build several cobras and then some.

No Issues this end.  Is the IGSL the Musketeer  version from SilverDog ?  If I get it to Light Up I will Return it to you.  Crazy circuit.  It's really like Two TGSL on one board.  One channel just for Iron with it's own ground balance audio.   Cheesy

Well Hell that's not good.  Do what ever you have to do and get your self out of that situation, eaa?

Nothing Too Serious I'm hoping ?

The Rest of the world can wait until your back on your feet in fighting form again.    Last thing you need is to end up back in the hospital again.

At least they let you out ?  I spent 31 days in  the Hospital  one time and didn't even know I was there for half of that.

Keep yacking with us so we know ya didn't do anything silly ?

Go Up Go Down

   UPDATE:
Received TWO massive boxes from Mr GrowDude.  Chocked full to the brim with STUFF!

First Project in order is the TGSL.   To be followed with his XR-71.
GrowDude Provided One TGSL PCB pre assembled by unknown party with the Two Tone Mod card and a Unknown to me Piggy Back PCB on Tx Out.  If anyone knows what it is Please jump in.  I think it's a  Mod having to do with using Minelab Musketeer Coils.

Also Included was a Fresh TGSL PCB and a abundance of Parts.    It seems All Parts required for a Fresh build ( Or Six ) is included with exception of the LM7808 and a 2N2907A.  Funny enough the same parts I'm missing for MY build.  LOL    I already have a Order Floating with Newark on this and more.

Plan is to Strip the Assemble Board of the two Modifications and see if I can get it up and running in stock configuration.  This entails Removing all wiring, Replacing Original Components that had to be removed as part of the Mod  Install.   If I have too many issues with Tracks and Pad damage , I will just jump on the Fresh PCB .  Otherwise the Goal is to get you  a Functioning TGSL  or Two when all is said and done.

Included in the Boxes was a Number of Coils.    A few Discovery Coils  that run frequency is 12.5 khz .  I was thinking I may be able to use one to fire up the TGSL.   Using my Mock Up TGSL Tx Oscillator I couldn't get one to sing.  One of the coils had been opened so I dissected it further.  Issues was again Components within the Coil.   .47uf and .022 in parallel with the Tx Coil.   Discovery had some tricks up their sleeves it seems.  The Tx coil is made of  22AWG wire.    Out comes the Chines Test O Matic.   More SHoCK.   The Tx coil  measures   .7 Ohms @ 310uH.    Right on the Money as your Basic PI Coil.   What were they thinking ?

I now have another coil for one of my Project DIY Pi's .   Why Discovery used this set up as a Tx coil on a VLF is a conundrum  to me at this point.   They must have been putting out a considerably strong  field for a VLF.

All I need to do is Re apply some Conductive Graphite shielding , foam things,  Some nice white Rattle Can Vinyl Paint   the original enclosure and DONE.  Cool one more for the Toy Box.
