Well GrowDude !  It's official.  I'm DONE playing with cheap used coils.  This Tesoro Wide Scan was a Bust too.  I can get it to Sing but it's not right.  Keeps going off like something is loose inside.

Just going to do what I should have done in the first place and Twist One Up with that 30AWG wire I sent for.  DANG!!!

Eaaa !  $10.00 for a Housings not a bad deal.

I can get your PCB into that Aluminum BOX you sent no problems with room for a three pack of 18650 Batteries it looks like.  PCB is just a bit too narrow to stay in the Guide Slots inside the Enclosure so I'll need to use something to widen the PCB by a lousy 1/16 inch.

Perhaps a 3/32" strip cut off some 1/4-3/8" high density foam rubber? Insert one side of the pcb into slot, then skew  up the board, placing foam rubber along other edge, and force down to align with slot? Hope you get my drift.
I use that black stuff for wedging boards and battery holders into boxes. Rarely even needs glueing.

I was thinking about the same thing Tim.   Just a fold of Foam Tape over the corners of the Board.

Not had time to dedicate on building a coil for this TGSL.    Keep a Eye open for a coil for this TGSL.  I'll buy it if it's reasonable.  Every time get set to build one some other crap fires up.  I have the TGSL all ready to box .  Just want the coil before I get it in the box.  After in the Box and Functional  I'll post it back to you to mess with.    I'm going to start working on the XR-71 until I can find one.   I can do that in steps.
