The old unit is working and functional.  I have a newer one (also BH).  The old style from the 1990's had the "arm rest" connected to the meter box.  It finally broke (plastic) beyond gluing or repair.  I want to keep this detector as a back-up.  I can take the "innards" out and find a way to mount to the metal wand but am a loss at what I should look for as a new, maybe clear plastic box.  Any help appreciated.    thanks  Jim

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Thanks to Christian.  I did save the plastic box sites.  You asked the make and model of the old BH,  Bounty Hunter 505 D1.

It has paid for itself many times over.  That is why I save as a back up.  Thanks again.
