after takeing my hawkeye panel off today for gb mod (AM) see next post down found a loose wire  anybody help can not trace were it should go (DETECTOR NOT WORKING)the photo shows the black wire solder point NEED HELP QUICK

Hello davidbat40. The photo does not show very much . You should get your voltmeter and check if you have supply voltages -5 , +5  or any other voltages across the circuit board , check your battery . Where does the black wire come from ? Is the circuit powered on ? The wire may of pulled off when you disassembled your detector . Look on the bottom of the PC board for a soldered wire that has nothing on the top side or a soldered area with a tiny hole through it . Chances are the soldered wire did not pull through unless the detector has poor / bad solder joints .

am i stupid or wot forgot to put back in the battery,s
as for the wire there was a small bit of solder on the coil connecter (washer) so soldered it back to there
then noticed wires for head phones was loose resoldered then two
