My Fisher 1280X Aquanaut is broken, the black wire came off the battery pack of the machine. I cleaned it up and re-solder it and it looks profesional. When i turned on the machine it emits a constant tone no matter what adjustments are made. does anybody have any ideas? please help

I'm no electronics tech, but maybe the cause of the black wire coming off also damaged other components? Or the black wire itself has internal damage?
You could try snapping photos and asking for help from the electronic boffins at the geotech1 forum.
