Hello Everyone . The reason I started this new topic today is , I was checking prices on PCB/Schematic software and my Jaw dropped !!! Full Version unlimited use is [Layout+Schematic+Autorouter] of Eagle Full Version ...$1494. $U.S. Dollars . The limited edition is for 99 schematics 4 single layers....$747. $U.S. Dollars . They are Idiot's . So on this topic the Thunting.com Project Builders can express there honest opinions also , or post links to equivelent [much cheaper] software .
Regards.........Eugene

Bill Jenkins, a good friend of mine, has been selling this Schematic Capture, PCB layout, Manual Router and Autorouter for years. His price? Well, just have a peek at his page. I have been using this software for more than 20 years now. Gosh. Time does fly.

There is a new version coming out very, very soon with some really keen features. Upgrades will be much cheaper than buying the new package.

Ezroute 2000 is the name, the price is budget friendly. The software, excellent.

It comes with a huge parts library but also has a built in part builder where you can create your own libraries or parts within existing libraries. Inputs and outputs can be assigned as well as multiple footprints for through hole or surface mount parts.

Bill also has a service where he will manufacture prototype boards for you at a very reasonable price. Ask him about it after you have a play with the demo software.

I sure wish you Upside down folks lived closer.

I have two friends I talk to all the time down there on Skype's.

Postage is a killer on some things.

A six pound package is like $60.00 USD.

That sucks.

Thanks goldigger . I will wake up and check the links you just posted . I have been trying to see if the schematic capture really works on some of the software posted on the internet . So Today I have been trying to check out Dip-Trace ..... My spare time will be gone soon , so the more the automated the faster the design time .... But this topic benifits everyone , not just me . So your suggestions are very appreciated !!!!
Thank-You and Best Regards..........Eugene

Eugene52,

Just wanted to tell you expressPCB is bare-bones and does not do schematic capture, but I can see the advantage....bI dont know what pad2pad will do (??)
