Sears 59634 GEB and TR/DESC

(1/1)

n0xes:
I wound up with this older sears Detector made for sears by Whites.  I love the way they look. This one has an all metal mode which does not discriminate and T/R discrimination.  Where would i find a schematic for this one and a Whites 6/DB or 6000D of the same era. Id like to play with the old sears and see what mods i can do with it.

You have come here and made 5 posts. In each of them you have asked for the moon. Stop by the New User board and introduce yourself. It's the polite thing to do.

Thanks for the reply, not asking for the moon in my opinion just information. Its a hobby isnt it? im trying to satisfy my curiosity. And my intention is to post on the new user area, I havent gottne that far, still looking around and learning how the page works. Thanks for the polite welcome. I work and am not retired, my time on line is limited so as soon as  i have more time i will do more, thank you.

Nonsense. There's no need to stop asking questions. Just take a moment and say hello to the gang. And no need to remove your posts, either.

One of our biggest arena of questions is just like yours regarding the technology behind the pretty boxes. Someone will come along with an answer or suggestion in just a short while. Your questions have a place here. Relax. Enjoy.

Thanks GD, Ive had coffee now, and thinking clearer.  I agree, questions are never a bad thing. If you don't ask how will you learn. Im looking forward to warmer weather and getting out to play, been doing research for good areas to hunt this summer and have located a couple good places.  Must be late summer for you now ?  Ive been to Perth, It was a great visit. and Mcdonalds on the beach near the old round prison building always had a great view.
That may have been Freemantle, not sure now its been a while.

GoldDigger1950:
That was Fremantle, indeed, but the McDonald's would be on the Perth side in Scarborough Beach. Since you were last here, that McDonald's is now closed and a few beach front cafes are there. The girls are as pretty as ever and waiting for you to come back. I see them in the mornings looking out to sea longingly. How many hearts did you break here, anyway?

Well GolDigger1950, hope all is well with you. seams like i haven't been on line in a long while. Haven't done much detecting during this time either. But looking to change that now.
I have more time on my hands and a few detectors to play with. Still remember the views from McDonalds on Scarborough Beach. Its probably a starbucks or other coffee shop now.
I dont have the previous Sears Detector any longer but did get another to replace it. Model 321.596170. I think its a whites 6000 Di Series 2, or series 3. Has the meter on the box,
provides target ID and Depth.  Also an MXT and Classic III.
