Prices seem to vary from about $12.00 on Flea Bay to up to $40.00 on other sites.

Seems there are Clones on the Market as warned by jyetech.com....

Ordered mine from GearBest

It works fine for some stuff but working on PI detectors I needed something that would go down lower then 1mSec.

Advertised as a 200Khz scope but anything I've seen on them says there worthless on anything more then about 20Khz.

Thats fine for my intended purposes.

Major features of DSO138:

Analog bandwidth: 0 - 200KHz
Sampling rate: 1Msps max
Sensitivity: 10mV/Div - 5V/Div
Sensitivity error: < 5%
Vertical resolution: 12-bit
Time base: 10us/Div - 500s/Div
Record length: 1024 points
Built-in 1KHz/3.3V test signal
Waveform frozen (HOLD) function available
Save/recall waveform

There are a number of Video on You tube under       DSO-138   Kit.

Will let you know in a couple of week after I receive kit and assemble.

The 200khz band is a deal breaker. You can see the output just fine but nothing of the inside workings on the board.

I believe you may be disappointed.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Yea, my bet is your right.  Eaaaaaa .   It's just a toy but if I can see the Damping on a Coil with it I'll be Skippy.

You get a BNC connector with some Gator Clips on the end of some wire.   LOL

Received Kit and Assembled.  Took me two days Putting at it.  No Issued getting it done.  Took my time even put components one direction all Perdy like.   Trace is nice and Clean up to 10K with a sign wave coming from the Lap Top. The Self Generated 1000Hz Square Wave Cal signal  is cleaner then the ones on YouTube by far.  Think it because I clipped off all the little antennas kept all leads as short as possible.    Need to dig out my ol Function Gen. It goes up to 100Khz.  LOL

  Frequency counter is Cool.

Power requirement is 9 VDC @ 200 mA.  I had it running for two hours with just a single 9V battery.

Ok, it's sure not a TekTronics but I think it's going to be a asset working on Detectors and Coils.

Times will tell.  I'll let you know of any issues that come up.

HH,   Homefire.

Check the Receive signal output of first Op Amp on my XL-500.  Scope does it's thing well at that delay .  Best scope can do is 10 uS per division but trace is most readable.  I like it.
