I have a Teknetics Mark 1 that works ok except when it locks on the target, it only stops the meter for a second then looses the lock.  Maybe a capacitor leaking off?Huh??

Welcome from New Mexico.        Yes it sounds like a sample and hold circuit is flaky..

 Hello Homefire
Thanks for the reply and welcome.  It sure would be nice to get a Sams Photofact schematic on the Mark 1 like we did in the old days for tv repair.   Thanks for the link for info.  Still trying to isolate the problem.
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thanks.  I printed out the schematic.  Just need to cipher it out now.
