Go Up Go Down

I have been detecting since 1975 and have gone through many detectors.  They only seem to last so long then start going crazy.  I still have fond memories of using the 8-10 detectors in my basement, but most don't work or work properly.  I have tried fixing them myself (I can fix an old Ford or Chevy), and have paid technicians to no avail.  Hoping to find that someone that has broken the code on these electronics.  Will be glad to share experiences and try to copy repair procedures to get these older units going.  Any one there?
