I have always been able to get schematics from whites in sweet home oregon, by calling or writing.

I have usually found operators manuals online by searching, sometimes takes awhile but various dealers or manufacturers do put them up, usually in pdf form.

Does anyone recognize the Radio Shack "Treasure Hunter" detector?  It had a gray/black control box with a speaker, volume with pull on-push off control and tuning knob.  Single PCB inside with CA3046 chip.  I am looking for a schematic for this model so I can do a restoration.  Thanks!  WolfmanSpike, Lupine Systems

Hi:  I'm replying to a post of your from 2 years ago.  Hope you are still active.  I need a scematic on the Compass 77B.  I have two versions of this detector; one has 3 sets of AA batteries and the other has (if I remember right) 2 sets of AA's and a 9-volt.  Neither are working.  I know for a fact that I installed a AA battery in backwards in one machine, plus both have questionable battery leads.  Anyway, I need to get with someone who is electronically intelligient and get them repaired.  Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.

Hi, I don't have any schematics for ya, however if you have a set of them for the Fisher 1260x I sure would appreciate a pdf. of them so I can get mine working. You can contact me directly at:  antennaguru@juno.com.  I'd appreciate it very much.

Many thanks, Mike

I can see that it is basically the same circuit as the XP-350. I traced the XP-350 and made a schematic. It is also the same as the lower bd in the early coin scanner pro. Most of these Compass models appear to have the same basic schematic with a few modifications.

Homefire, I'd guess he want to preview, added his attachments and then forgot to press the Post button. He'll have to do it over.
