Go Up Go Down

Hi everyone, I would be very great full if anyone can help me with a schematic from the 1980,s Whites AT3 metal detector. The circuit board where the plug in connector has some damage I need to repair. I love this old machine and hate to see it laying around not being used.

Welcome from NM.

Are you sure it's a Whites?

Garrett made a AT3 and AT4 detector. Huh?

You are so correct it is a Garrett AT3 Beach Hunter. I was thinking about my Whites Eagle that still works GREAT. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you I opened the machine and observed the coil plug connector has a wire off and I'm not sure the other 3 are in the correct positions.

I'm talking about the coil  wire connector to the circuit board I think the four wires go : Shield--Blk---Red---White but I'm not sure if I have them opposite into the connector.

If anyone owns a Garrett AT3 Beach Hunter and can send me a picture of the coil connector plug that  that connects to the pins on the circuit board. I need to see the order the wires are connected to the connector. Thank you.

Do you no what color the RX and TX wires are? With the connector attached to the board do you know if pin 1 is to the bottom or the top of the four pins?

That is just one of Garretts pin set ups.

If you look at the back of the connector the pins are numbered.
