Go Up Go Down

Hi all,
I bought a Whites Silver Eagle new back in the day but never used it. I powered it up a few times but always used my Eagle 2 SL. The other day I thought I would take the Silver out for awhile and after powering it up and choosing a program it shut off and will not power up again. Batteries and contacts are fine. Something has gone out on the board I believe. White's does not service them anymore I was told. Does any one have a schematic for the Silver Eagle or Eagle spectrum?

Thanks

i had the same problem with my Eagle back in the day,(Not Turning On-No power)
and White's fixed it for me by replacing the "keypad".
probably corrosion on the very fine tracks create the problem.
perhaps you can ask them if they have one in stock.
its NOT that difficult to replace it yourself.
give it a try if you can it may fix the detector. Smiley

Thanks for the idea, I opened the switch/display housing up, everything looks good, checked the switches with a multimeter and they are good. I ordered a voltage regulator for it today. Will see if replacing that will do any good. White's told me they have zero parts for these machines anymore.

Where in the USA are you? You may live near one of the forum's technically able members. For example, I live in CT, Homefire is in NM and Eugene52 lives in OR.
