hi all
i have asking around for the parts required for the DP and i have noticed that the capacitors ( C1-C32 ) have different voltages for the same capacitance value, and i got confused which voltage do i take, can any one please advise on this,
please note also that this is my first time ever working on an electronic board so there will lots of other question as i go through this project

The voltage rating on a capacitor is the maximum that the device can sustain without being destroyed by the internal dialectric breaking down. Most designers use a minimum of 10% over the maximum expected voltage. If a capacitor is specified as .1uf 16v, you can substitute it with a .1uf and a higher voltage rating but never lower. The only other limiting factor is the size. If it's too big for your project, don't use it.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

thanks GD for the help
but still if you look through the part list provided with this project (by Eugene) you can see that non of the capacitors has a voltage specified, and i wonder if there is an updated list that specifies voltage for the capacitors

Use polyester film capacitors @100 volt rating and 5% tolerance. Your number 1 choice of capacitor should be "Polyester Film" then second choice should be "Mylar"
