24 AWG = 0.511 mm, resistance = 84.22 Ohm's per Km, 16 turns = 64m, resistance = 5.39 R I'm working on a calculator that will give an estimate of the inductance and I don't have a 1m x 1m coil so I cant give you the inductance at the moment all that I can tell you is that 5.39 R looks a bit high but you don't kneed a fast coil for large objects so this one should work fine.

I have been told that there was but I have not found one yet that works like the LF357 remember that it has been discontinued so finding them can be a bit of a pain.

The thing is the 50V/us slew-rate but you could try the NE5534 and LM318 so I've been told.

Hello to all!
Hi noticed you used single sided pcb, was that taken from the final pcb layout plus circuit put on here?
Because if so i will start mine

Many thanks

I am submitting here my finished project and it works pretty good. I make a simple temporary 6" search coil and can detect a single coin at 8" deep.

Thanks a lot to Eugene for sharing his time and talents.
More power to you and to thunting.com
