Help!!! I have an older minelab xt18000. Any help would be appreciated as far as incorporating a different coil assembly-it is one that is 4 pin configuration. Also any tuning help or radio upgrading help is something that I would like to try. I understand that this is an older unit, but it has proven itself and want to keep it alive. As of the immediate situation is the coil is screwed and disrupts signaling when bumped. Help me obi wan, I am looking for all hope!!!

Well, for the sake of not polluting any sacred waters or marking my carbon footprint by disposing of electronics, guess I’ll just unplug the radio and use it as a makeshift door stop and play soccer with the kids in the off chance anyone around the house got nothing better to do.

   Rather depressing…  😔☹️
