Either way,
1) click on your non-avatar.   That should take you to your profile.
2) on the left side of the page you'll see a box labeled "Modify Profile" select "Forum Profile Information" from the list
3) the top section deals with the avatar.  You can either select an avatar from the site library using the "Personalized Picture" option and selecting an image using the drop down or you can post your own picture using either of the other two options.

Grin Grin pissing my self man you do have a good sense of humour don?t you? you want to know what is really funny I just installed Linux Ubuntu to get rid of this horrid windows but now I cant even find out how to shut it down looks good thought I do hope that I will be able to get used to it in a short while and that I?ll be able to get all my soft for the PCB going soon I don?t even have Thunting on it yet don?t know how to make a desktop icon I?m sending you this with the lap top or what do they call it now days ho yes a note book soon they will call it a type as you go thingamgique
