As a Newbie on this site, I can tell you all that taking your detector on rides/ trips is a great way to locate new out of the way detecting locations. I was invited to detect a property next to a KOA that I overnited at resulting in some coins and a broach that the person had lost next to their creek.

  Looking forward to more trips.

Alright there.
Why dont you try and search some places or ground that nobody really bothers about. You will be well surprised at what you can find.
