Seldom,....no unfortunately, we did not get to do any panning while in Alaska. That would have been fun!!.. but I was traveling with my mother (77) and some of her friends, and they were not up to it. (I was the Junior of the group! ha ha ha) But got some amazing photos of one of the Glaciers calving, 2 different Grizzly bears (one catching a large salmon), a Moose, a Snowshoe Rabbit, and a Caribou with his horns in velvet.... and of course the scenery was out of this world!!
