Howdy,  I couldn't  afford a AK-47 so got a SKS carbine.  I've shot the AK-47 and didn't like how blasted hot it got.  That dinky hand guard needs to be bigger like a BAR has.  Most gun guys in the USA have the attitude that gun ownership is what is saving us from dictatorship.  All they have to do is spray us at 4 AM while we sleep.  No need to fight us in the streets then.  Oh by the way I'm sending my order in for one 1804 silver dollar today.
