Hi FN,
We can search anytime we like and have done a large part of the place I think the coin fell from a trouser pocket and rolled through the cracks in the floor boards, strangely enough a new development was the "Archaeologists" took over the farm for about a week but found nothing of interest and left in the spring we think they were looking for Native settlements, so we were told.

Gee Johnnn, if the Archaeologists have been there and left without finding anything of interest, I'd say that leaves the field pretty much open for you  Smiley   After all, how can they accuse you of "stealing precious Canadian heritage" if they've already been in and surveyed the site and not found anything "significant'

By the way, I always love it when some posts to this thread.....it's great to see that coin pop back up.

BA

I Know BA I have an enlarged color photo of that coin in my "operations room" in my basement, I will be in his place for our usual Christmas visit so I will get another look at it.
