That's so cool ! You definitely did the right thing. Imagine their faces when they dig that back up and see that another pirate added to their booty !

I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps there needs to be a new catagory added to geocaching called "Buried Treasure". GPS coordinates gets you to the general location but your MD is needed to actually pinpoint. Hmmm! Interesting concept. I can see little pirate treasures buried in sandboxes all over the world.

Great story. At first I thought maybe you had really stumples on a real pirates hoard.

When I dug up that little chest and looked inside, I was touched by the children's imagination. They probably fancied themselves real pirates. It warmed this cold, dark heart of mine.
