Go Up Go Down

Hi, I'm Steve from East TN, a newbie to the site and to relic hunting/coin shooting.
My relatives lived in the Vonore TN area near Tellico Lake and the Seqouia Museum.  I remember them plowing fields on the farm and finding Native American artifacts (points mostly).  Is it still legal to collect NA artifacts from private property in TN?
They also rarely found some lead balls and brass items.  Does anyone know of any Civil War activity or encampments in the Vonore area?  Any help or if you would like to assist a newbie in relic hunting that would be great.

Welcome Steve From East TN!
I am also a newbie on this site making my rounds to all so to speak! I am Ralph and I live in central Pa. and I have civil war research material here that I will go through and see what I can find for you! In the mean time keep me posted on your future finds.
 Good luck!

At the moment it's 41c here or 105.8f. I'd trade for a few minutes right now.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Yowzer, that's hot.  It was 9 F here this morning.  A bit of cold is OK but when the ground is too frozen to dig it's too much for me. Smiley
Thanks for the map link.  I will definitely check it out.  Have  a great new year!
