I know I showed this here already but it might be in different subboard so again sharing this artifact I found. I was on a mission that spring, I was going to find something and I had ideas where to look. This is one of my 2 finest personally found points. Its most likely transitional paleo to early archaic, maybe a Stanfield or Sloan or maybe just a "knife" makes me happy knowing I can be in same area Native Americans made and used these things!

I'm not into your type of hobby here but that arrow head looks mighty awesome mate.

I've seen plenty of them in antique shops and other shows etc but never that cool

looking before. Congrats  Clapp on the find. ARR!

Thanks  Wink I think it picked up the colors from the minerals and such. Though it may be hard to beleive it was most likely a creamy beige when "new" and alot of people call this mineralization creek stain. It is becoming a little competitive and really there is less and less being exposed each year so I may give it a rest soon but its been a blast and I have alot of good memories hunting for points.

Very nice.......Ive collected rocks, fossils and arrow heads since I was a kid. But I dont know much about them. When it gets colder and I"m stuck inside......I'll get some out and take pics for the site. Maybe I can learn what I got that way.
