Welcome aboard! Well, regarding SEF Coils: You read a lot of pro and con on the forums while I pesonally do think that much of the pro does come from the dealer related parties ...

So while I do not think a SEF coil is worse than most other coils the question remains whetere it is any better. Is it really? I do not think so. Atleast I know a lot of Minelab SE and eTrac users who did sell their SEF coil and move back to their standard coil. Also do not forget that the default coil is the one which usually fits best.

The biggest advantage of a bigger SEF coil is the additional ground coverage.

Regards,

Christian
