Let me introduce my self. I am the published author of two award winning collections of true stories of the American West, a history of the lost Spanish expedition of 1528, and a documented history of the arrest, internment, and repatriation of German Americans during World War Ii.

I am an Air Force veteran and I teach a writing course at Dixie State College in St. George, Utah. My work has been published in numerous national and regional publications and has been recognized by such prestigious magazines as Writer's Digest.

I am a member of the League of Utah Writers and Western writers of America.

      Welcome to THunting.com.  I hope you don't mind the fumble fingers---a lot of us don't type and think at the same speed. 
       With all the documentary and archival research (which some of us enjoy) and the writing and teaching, do you get much time wander the terrain (with or without a metal detector)?

I live in Washington State not far from several old mining ghost towns.  Have found some old bottles and such around one of the townsites.  Looking to buy a detector and see what I can find.
