Hello all,

Yes, this powered parachute is a lot of fun to fly - we have used it to find prospecting places, meteorite hunting sites, just for fun rides (mostly that), fishing sites, and even for my wife to take pictures for her photography hobby. Friends and I have even flown it into the Arizona dessert, landed on BLM roads, detected for gold nuggets and meteorites, and then flown it back to where we took off from.  I have been flying since I was 16 (wow, 43 years now!), and when I saw one of these fly by about 11 years ago, I new I had to have one. It is a two seater (built from a kit) and weighs all of about 360 lbs.  It has a range of about 100 miles depending on wind, and flies about 30mph with two people in in and about 28mph with just me flying it. It is powered by a 2 cycle Rotax 65 HP Bombardier engine - water,oil, and air cooled. It has full avionics, air to ground and air to radio, and a safety transmitter in case of emergency. I only fly in perfect weather and after a total preflight check - for as my instructor taught me a long time ago, "Takeoffs are optional, landings are not!"  A very cool toy indeed!
