Go Up Go Down

Greetings,
I'm an Old Newbie here.  I have many yrs. experience in Prospecting, Metal Detecting and Treasure hunting.  My first finds were with, Probably the 1st Model of the Garrett XL-500, underwater detector.  I dont really know the first year it came out, but I bought mine (if my memory is correct) about 1973,  I was lucky enough to find 5 of the Silver Pesos that were dumped in Manila Bay, Philippines  Back in about 1943 I believe.  Other than that I scoured the Beaches of Subic Bay, Philippines and found modern Coins, and Hundreds of WWII bullets and relics of the War. Most of my good finds are confined to Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and California, but I have found a few Coins and Trinkets in other states as well.
I think my Gold Prospecting days with Pan, Sluice, Highbankers, and the like are over.  Having Retired from the US Navy, and Permanently Retired, I now live in the Far North West Philippines with my Filipina Wife of 33 yrs.
I can learn much from others here, and hope I also can be helpful to those of you who are just starting out with this Fascinating Hobby!

Attachments are just a small representation of a few of my Gold finds.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
