Thank you all for the welcome messages,  I'm looking forward to getting out with the chance pi tonight although tide is not quite low enough really . Only 1.4 meters but dropping to 0.4m over the weekend!
Got to see about about a new permission over the weekend too.
Wish me luck!

Stay safe. The water can  be a dangerous place.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Hi TM and welcome from Connecticut. You are off to a great start, especially getting your home brewed detectors off and working. I populated the boards for the Surf Pi and the Chance, however, still have to get off my duff and build the coils.

Mudflap, that  40lb old monitor you keep tripping on in your shed has a degauss coil in it with the wire you need.

Your close there Homie. Only it's 240m pounds and a 27" Trinitron, no balony, it's a Sony and still running in my living room! I don't have the heart to pull it plug.......         I do have some TFE wire around somewhere....

Good morning folks Smiley
Thanks again for the welcome. And thanks for the encouragement with the machines!
Sadly the chance PI was not on good form last night, lots of falsing for some reason?
Its been out before and been fine and runs great in my workshop so not sure yet as to why ...?
Hope I will be able to find the gremlins before tonight so I can have a another go!
Anyway I'll keep you all posted Smiley
All the best
TM
