Ok, I am new and not sure if I am doing this correctly.  Have gotten the book Hidden Treasures in  Texas by Jameson and it is awesome.  Have Coronado's Children coming in the mail.  Can't wait to read.  Plan to search for Lafitte's treasure on my brother in laws land just south of Victoria.   WIll post what happens.   Any ideas of where to start?

Thanks, I love your name "cache"  That is a great name for this website.  I don't know if I will ever locate any treasures, but I am learning a great deal about Texas history and that part is fun also!!  I look forward to learning more and perhaps someday finding something, even if it is just in my own backyard.

Welcome to THunting.com.   I must say that if you're hunting for Lafitte's treasure just south of Victoria, you'll be hunting a different area than most...but that may be a good thing.
