Go Up Go Down

In ts become a practice hear in the the UK  for local councils to sell there supposed Green Waste !! which consists of grass cuttings leaves anything that is garden waste and green  , all so as general house hold rubbish is now sorted and all plastics glass metal ect is taken out for recycling , and other green waste that's mixed in with general waste is set aside for composting , wonderful idea very ecco" .
Well as you can imagine this is being done on an industrial scale up and down the country , and for local authorities and councils its a win win situation , as they are getting paid  for waste  , and it saves on taking it to land fill sites .
The problem arise after the waste is taken away from the local amenity tips  to the compost  centres where its again sorted then processed goes through shredders piled up and left for fourteen weeks to compost , its processed again and run under magnets to take out metal , and other non organic material plastics glass aluminium ,this is then bought by Garden compost makers taken away in bulk to be further refined , mixed with other fertilisers , this is the bagged up and sold via popular High Street outlets as quality potting compost or a peat substitute ,it dose not contain glass plastic aluminium or any noxious  waste ..
Meanwhile back at the compost making depot there a large residue of semi organic waste mixed with shredded  plastic glass bits of wire aluminium , clinical waste you name it its in there , that has no commercial value , you certainly would not want it on your garden , this muck is called shredding s its a by product of the composting process ,rather than take it to a land fill which would cost money , this waste is being spread over the land , its my belief that they may be paying farmers to do this ,once its spread on the land , detecting is impossible the ground is contaminated with foil aluminium plastic coated copper wire  , its dead done for..
From a detecting point of view  , well yes we have an arterial motive ,we are guest of the farmer , and he would not want us to tell him how to run his business , there are many farmers who wont touch this waste even if they are offered money to take it , but I worry that this waste has stuff in it which  may contain heavy metals and other dangerous chemicals that will end up in the food chain , I have seen personally granulated and bigger lumps of asbestos , and plastic syringe cases , within piles of this waste put on to good farming land ,, It is a big problem here and needs to be stopped.

Get your self an incinerator and start to process the waste, I'm sure that the waste would pay for the running cost of the incinerator. You could recover aluminum, copper, silver, gold and so forth. If you cant beat them join them.

I have to agree with you Homie but you know that the thirst for money is stronger than the health of the population, Come to think of it, it may even be a planed thing but I don't want to get into politics at this time of day.

Grin Grin Grin Grin Well they do call them sausage dogs don't they LOL Or how about a bloody Mary.... this is definitely getting disgusting.  I still think that you should get the population in your area to donate money in order to get an incinerator and work out a plane to give them an incentive or get your commune to give them an incentive.   Where there's a will there's a way
