Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong with my Bounty Hunter IV? It turns on but that's it! Changed batteries twice no luck. The power button is also the sensitivity dial and when I turn it on the target indicator jumps and it makes an audible beep then nothing. I would be most grateful for any help!!!

When I got my BH Pioneer 505 I had a problem with the connector for the cord that goes down to the coil.  It would beep, then nothing unless i held the cord a certain way to complete the connection.
