Cobra Beach Magnet- Radio shack
« on: February 07, 2010, 06:07:16 pm »
Go Up Go Down

Hello I am a newbe from the great state of Maine. Although we are in the throws of winter the days are getting longer and before too long I will be able to hit the beaches. I have two rather un-impresive detectors one from radio shack that I picked up at a yard sale and a beach magnet  from Cobra. They both work OK but I look forward to learning more about detecting and purchasing a better unit. I am a 63 year old  scuba diver and have been poking around in the sand most of my life. Looking forward to funding my retirement. Leo Waveing

HI Leo, Surely won't be long until the harsh winter winds down. Hope you find some nice old coins when you get to the beach. Until then, welcome to the forum and enjoy. Sue

Hey Leo, Welcome aboard.
make no apologies for the new equip. we all start out somewhere. They all pick up something. I also started out with radio shack. It found a nearly complete set of silverware.
You are in good company.
